Hagedorn's Buller Funeral Services, a well known and respected Westport company, was established in the early 1890s.
Located on the corner of Wakefield and Derby Streets, our modern and well appointed funeral home and chapel complex was purpose designed and built in 1995 and has the only registered and licensed mortuary in the district.
Owner Robert Hoetjes has been involved in the funeral profession for over 12 years, with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Robert is able to assist families with all funeral related matters. Serving the funeral needs of the Buller District we are also able to assist families to repatriate their loved ones throughout New Zealand and internationally. With many folk having to seek medical treatment away from Westport or moving to be with family in other parts of New Zealand, we can also assist in returning loved ones home for burial or cremation.
