Welcome to a different funeral services firm.
We’d like, briefly, to introduce ourselves.
With over 100years of history, Jones & Company is the oldest funeral services firm in our region. We remain wholly locally owned and operated. Other funeral services firms have come and gone. Others have passed into foreign ownership. We have chosen a different route, of investment in and commitment to our community.
In an issue, for instance, that distinguishes one firm from another, we have the Bay’s most qualified staff. We believe you should never accept less.
We know the importance of unswerving personal and family commitment, of always seeking to offer more than the ordinary. With this guiding philosophy, it’s our role to help each family in the way they individually need. You’ll find we’ll work with you to create a funeral in which every detail, every moment, is as you want it to be. It might be pre-arranged and pre-paid, an area we briefly discuss below. It will be one where your beliefs, your memories, come to the fore. This site is merely a brief word about our firm and our approach.

Pre-arranging/Pre-paying Funerals
Consider the benefits of a pre-paid funeral. People are used to organising their financial affairs so as to gain the greatest peace of mind as they enjoy retirement years. Many people, however, are unaware of the ease and simplicity of organising preferred funeral arrangements, either for a family member or for themselves.
We can come to you to talk anything over. Thinking about funeral arrangements isn’t easy. You may be preparing for the death of an elderly loved one or relation, or you may be planning your own funeral service. We’re here to help.
Don’t keep your questions to yourself. Don’t worry about something in silence. More likely than not, it’ll be something we’re familiar with, a question we can easily answer. All you have to do is call us. If you’re living in our Tauranga region, we’ll gladly visit you, or you can visit us at any of our three funeral homes.

Our Funeral Homes & Chapels
You might prefer to have a funeral service held at your church, or we can offer one of our well-appointed chapels. They each have full catering facilities, or we can arrange catering wherever you choose. Important to remember too, we will work with you to create a funeral service with the quality and individuality you desire. Whatever you decide to do, be assured we’ll maintain our total care and the full dignity of the ceremony.
