Paterson’s Funeral Services has been locally owned and operated for over 25 years by Roger Paterson. It covers an area from the Rangitata to the Rakaia, from the mountains (which includes the Mt Hutt Skifield) to the sea. The premises are situated on the main street of Ashburton making it very accessible, and only 80 kms south of Christchurch International Airport.
Paterson’s Funeral Services can provide their own Chapel facilities to accommodate 130 people with close circuit television to accommodate a further 100, or families may wish to use a venue of their own choice which may be a Church, sports club or even a private residence.
The funeral home boasts an attractive Reception Lounge, warm in Winter and cool in Summer, with an outside garden and Childrens Play area.
Own catering staff who cater on site or a venue of your choice.

Ashburton’s local crematorium associated with the funeral home.
Caskets
Paterson’s Funeral Services manufacture all their caskets on site with a qualified cabinet maker.
Roger is an experienced funeral director with a further two funeral directors to assist him.
